FROM BOOK TO MOVIE
One of the funniest novels of all time, A Confederacy of Dunces, has never been made into a movie, though many have tried over a 25 year period (including an early proposed version with John Belushi and Richard Pryor). The Book Standard explains why classic lit is so hard to turn into celluloid.
