MORE EBN

More video slice and dice from the group whose work my friend Mark once likened to visual heroin (I'd say its more like visual LSD myself).

This one has samples from the Dalai Lama, Danny Kaye and I think the little kid at the beginning is from some Ken Russell film. Enjoy.

I'm pretty sure the kid is from Peter Greenaway's 1991 film Prospero's Books.

You know, I had a video of theirs (yes, video... VHS) back when that 'We Will Rock You' thing they did dropped. I really liked the concept, but I've always been a sucker for good music, and hateful towards bad music. Unfortunately, the music didn;t grab me at all. It was kinda weak, but I realize they put all of their energy into compiling and editing together 3,900 hours of audio and video tracks.
You can't have it all.

Yeah, I had that video too (where it's gotten to I don't know).

When DJ Spooky played in Eureka a few years ago, he played newer EBN videos as the backdrop.

Unfortunately their newer stuff lacks the humor and political satire of the 'We will Rock You' days.
