LAZY SUMMER DAYS

My blogging has been less frequent these days, what with rock n roll wedding receptions to attend (congrats to Charlotte and Melissa), friends in from out of town (good to see you Wendy) and a general tendency to indulge in real life rather than hang out on the internets (that's what those long rainy Humboldt winters are for).

Russ Meyer's masterpiece of trash cinema, Beyond the Valley of the Dolls, just got the deluxe DVD treatment (with commentary by screenwriter Roger Ebert). It's been since hailed as a feminist classic....honest. A good review and the story behind the film can be found here.
