As we drift towards increased government secrecy and media consolidation alternative sources of news and information are more valuable than ever. One of the best such websites I've found is The Memory Hole edited by Russ Kick (also responsible for the two Disinformation anthologies, Everything You Know is Wrong and the new Abuse your Illusions). Here you'll find archived stories deleted from mainstream news outlets, examples of news photo manipulation in post-war Iraq and a great new archive of 9/11 documents that the Bush administration is doing their best to make sure is not released to the public. Too late Shrub, the truth is already out there...
